FitXref (fitxref.com) is a static site. This page describes exactly what happens to your data today, and we will update it the day that changes.

What we collect today

Nothing, on our end. FitXref has no account system, no server-side database, no cookies, and no tracking script. Every pre-check runs entirely in your browser: the fields you type into the comparison form are never sent to us or to any third party. Some pages store a small, anonymous usage counter (for example, how many pre-checks were run) in your browser's local storage, purely so the page can remember state during your visit. That counter never leaves your device.

What your browser sends to others

Your browser sends the standard request your web browser always sends to load any page: your IP address and user-agent string are visible to our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) as part of normal web traffic, the same as any other website you visit. We do not access, log, or analyze this data ourselves beyond aggregate, anonymized traffic reporting that Cloudflare provides to any site it hosts.

Outbound and affiliate links

Some pages link to manufacturer documents, professional community threads, or retailer product pages. Some retailer links are affiliate links — see our affiliate disclosure. Once you click through, that site's own privacy policy applies, not ours.

If this changes

If we add analytics (for example, Plausible, which is cookie-free and does not track individuals across sites) or any other data collection, we will update this page first and describe exactly what is collected and why. We do not intend to run cookie-based tracking or sell any data, and this section will say so explicitly if that ever changes.
